DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) was a well respected member amongst sneaker collectors for his passion and dedication to the culture. Prior to his death in August DJ AM was set to fulfill a life long dream of his with the release of his own Nike Dunk High as part of the East vs. West collection.
The release of the shoe was put on hold while Nike and Goldstein's family worked out legal issues. After months of speculation the first images of the DJ AM and Nike collaboration have hit the Internet.
A Nike Dunk High premium was selected and many personal touches were added including the DJ AM logo and Technics 1200 turntable-inspired perforations on the heel. A specific release date is yet to be determined in the mean time enjoy the few images of this already legendary release.
