This appears to be a pretty incredible catch made by a ball girl during a triple-a game. Although, I don't know the legitimacy of this clip (I hear it's a Gatorade commerical), it's still pretty cool to look at none the less.

I Know Kung Fu

I didn't think there could be anything as entertaining as a midget break dance battle. That was until I happened across this short clip of an old Kung Fu flick where an amputee is whooping everyone's taffy asses.

Josh Meyers, Krysten Ritter and Ian Somerhalder join cast of the comedy film version of Jenna Jameson's book “How to make love to a woman." Jenna will play herself in the film. This film may have been relevant a couple years ago prior to Jenna quitting the porn business and losing half her body weight due to being stressed over her reportedly nasty divorce. Here's hoping that We'll see a healthy looking Jenna opposed to the Jenna of recent that looks like a cast Member from "V".

Captain America Not In Incredible Hulk

Although it had been widely reported that along with Tony Stark, Captain America would make a cameo in the upcoming Incredible Hulk film, that now appears not to be the case. In an interview with SOS Hollywood director Louis Leterrier says the scene with Cap's cameo has been cut because, the scene was very dark and the film needed to be better suited to younger audience members. Leterrier further went on to say that the scene will eventually be available on the Internet... “At some point this week, we will make it available on the internet – but I cannot tell you where or when – and the material will definitely be on the DVD.”

Paramount Seeking Star Trek Sequel Already

Star Trek co-writer and executive producer Roberto Orci has revealed on TrekMovie.com that the studio is already perusing the new Trek team to nail them down for a follow-up. Orci dropped by the talkback section on TrekMovie.com and interacted with the fans. Although Bob expressed his backing of the Abrams ‘no spoilers’ policy, when pressed for some spoilers (including showing him the Queen of Diamonds from The Manchurian Candidate), Orci let the following out of the bag: Alright, since I saw the queen I can give you a spoiler about the Studio’s state of mind (not about the movie itself). The spoiler is that they already want to lock us down to write the sequel. Take that as you will. After reading that TrekMovie.com contacted Mr. Orci to get some more details. Orci first wanted to clarify that Paramount wants ALL of the Trek team back, or as he has dubbed them: ‘The Supreme Court.’ This would mean the return of co-writers/exec producers Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman, producer Damon Lindelof, executive producer Bryan Burk and director/producer JJ Abrams. There are no detailed discussions yet, but Orci tells TrekMovie “they would like to lock us down” for the sequel, but he points out: Unless the studio had a horrible experience with us, they would be trying to lock us down as standard operating procedure. They haven’t even seen the movie yet, so this news should not be taken as evidence that we are anything special. It’s a quite normal practice. SOURCE: TrekMovie.com

Todd McFarlane Back On Spawn

Starting with issue #185 Spawn creator Todd McFarlane will once again return to his creation. But, not in the fashion that many have been pining for. Todd will not be responsible for the artistic chores that privilege goes to fellow Image founder Whilce Portacio. Rounding out the creative group will be writer Brian Holguin. McFarlane will be responsible for plotting out stories as well as laying out pages. "Having Todd by my side is fantastic because he gives me all the texture he's been trying to place in his stories," said Portacio. "As the artist, I get to say, 'Okay, let me grab all of this stuff that's oozing out of your head and let me see if I could make it visually pleasing.' For me, that's the most fun part." "It's exciting to go back to it," said Holguin. "It's familiar, but it's changed enough. It's like going back to your home town after a couple of years—that store is no longer there and this is moved over there. You're in the process of rediscovering things again. I have an enthusiasm for it now that I didn't have when I left the book." As for new the new direction itself, the trio of drivers decided to keep their passengers in the dark, but Portacio shone a little bit of light on some things to expect. "It seems that everybody had the same thought that this is a great, huge universe, and let everybody finally see it," said Portacio. "Not just glimpse a demon here or there, but to actually get into their motivation, what factions they're part of. Todd has even given me freedom to create new factions of spawns and new factions of angels." Source: Wizard

Adidas & Kevin Garnett Team Up For Charity

Just in time for the NBA Finals (which began today) Kevin Garnett, the Boston Celtics and adidas announced today the launch of a rare version of Garnett’s 2008-09 adidas Team Signature Commander shoe. This footwear release was designed to commemorate the Celtics’ historic run at an NBA Championship. adidas will produce only eight pairs per game of this exciting shoe to be sold at retail, starting at 10:00am on June 5, 2008 (as few as 32 pairs or as many as 56 pairs will be available depending on the number of games The Finals goes to). One special pair of shoes autographed by KG will be auctioned off on NBA.com after The Finals. All profits from the sale of these shoes will go to NBA Cares community partners in the Boston area.
Another key attribute that has adorned KG’s shoes throughout the years are his tributes to two of his good friends and mentors: Malik Sealy (former Timberwolves teammate) and Kirby Puckett (former Minnesota Twins Superstar Centerfielder). Malik’s tribute is located under the strap and says “2 Malik”, while Kirby’s call out, “KP 34” is located on the back of the shoe, just below the adidas logo. “KG redefines what passion means on the basketball court but this energy also spills over to include every off-court initiative that he is involved with as well,” stated Lawrence Norman, VP Global Basketball for adidas. “His switch never turns off - KG is 100% authentic and his drive to make a difference in the community is real and ongoing. This was the perfect concept for a guy like KG and adidas to get involved with as we both enjoy finding fun, creative ways to give back to the local community.” “KG has shown throughout his career that he is a consummate team player, whose passion for the game, his teammates and his community is unmatched,” stated Rich Gotham, President, Boston Celtics. “KG embodies all of the characteristics that all true Celtic greats have and this is one of many ways that Kevin gives back to the city of Boston and its fans.” The limited edition adidas Team Signature Commander will only be available at Celtics.com, the TD Banknorth Garden Pro Shop and NBA Store in New York City. Each pair of adidas Team Signature KG Commanders will retail for $1017 (to commemorate the drive for championship #17).

McG on T4

The official Terminator blog has been updated and in it director McG informs us that the weather in New Mexico has been brutal, Sam Worthington tore a muscle during a fight scene and only 3 people know the actual ending of the film. He closes out the latest entry addressing the film possibly receiving a PG 13 rating "Oh yeah, don't get too uptight about the prospect of the film being PG-13. We have entertained the idea of a PG-13 rating largely because Batman Begins, in my opinion, was made compromise-free. So we'll see. The movie comes first and it will be protected at all times…" You can read the entire update HERE. Terminator 4 is set for a May 22, 2009 release.
